H&M Manhunter

This is a polish that I bought during the summer. I needed a black. And Manhunter from H&M is black, as black as it gets. And I think black looks really good on really short nails, so I had this on a while ago when one of my nails broke and I shortened all my nails.

The formula was good. Easy to apply (although I don't like these kind of caps but I have learned to work it) and I needed two coats for full opacity.

Some shopping on the way to work...

I hurt my back this morning working out (isn't training supposed to be good for you?), so feeling sorry for myself I bought two polishes on my way to work. Both I have wanted since I first saw them.

The ones I bought are these:

Britta from Make up store. A pink holo. I am really looking forward to wear this.

Notoriously beautiful from H&M. A purple-blue creme. Like it.

To bee seen on my nails soon... I hope, I have so many untried polishes right now, why did I buy two moore?

H&M No Mambo jambo

For being Sweden H&Ms polishes are cheap. They costs 39 Swedish kronor compared to an OPI polish that costs 150 Swedish kronor (about 21 US dollars). And for those 39 kronor you get a pretty good polish.

I bought No Mambo jambo the other day, going through H&M quickly on my lunchbreak (you know, H&M once started their first store in the city I live in). I fell for the emerald green color, it was beautiful, even there being stressed and all.

And I am not disapointed after wearing it on my nails. It looks just as beautiful on the nail. My nails shine with this on.

The formula was quite good and I used three layers to get full opacity. But, as one of my lovely readers warned me, it did stain my nails when I took it off, although I used basecoat.

A little bit of shopping...

I like H&M's polishes. The ones I have tried have been good, so I wanted to try another one. I fell for this emerald green, No mambo jambo it is called. I think it will look beautiful on the nails.

Black and pink

I wasn't supposed to buy another polish. Or two for that mather. But standing in line waiting to pay for a dress at H&M I saw these two beauties for the price of one. Who could resist the black Manhunter and the bright pink It's genious M then?
I think black is a great color to wear on my toe nails, because then I can wear any color I want on my fingers. And pink, well I am looking for the perfect pink...

H&M Check me out

This season is actually the first time that I have been longing for coral shades. I have always thought they are a bit boring and that I am too pale for them, but now I am looking for them thinking why not? They do look pretty.

Check me out is a coral pink polish from H&M. It is a cheap brand, I paid 39 kronor which is about 4 euros.

The polish is a creme pink polish with coral tones. It is highly pigpented and if the formula would be a bit better two layers would be enough. But I need three layers because the formula is a bit streaky and the surface becomes a bit uneven with just two layers. I also think that the formula is a bit too thick.

Well, it a nice color, but not anything I am jumping up and down for.
Not this time.

Playing with Silver shatter

I have earlier showed you Silver Shatter from OPIs coming Pirates of the Caribbean collection. I do think though that it looks its best with a strong color under it, and not the pastells that are in the collection.

So I painted Silver shatter over Blue my mind from H&M and here is the result.
I like it.

H&M Peppermint fusion

Today I am wearing another polish I found at H&M. It is a lovely light blue-lavender shimmer polish. Sometimes it looks light blue, sometimes lavender, sometimes you see the shimmer, sometimes there is a hint of pink. It is very beautiful. 

The formula is a bit thin but I still have control over it. I am also learning to master the cap on the bottle. With the first H&M polish I tried I thought it was a bit hard to hold, but now I am getting better at it. 

To get a full cover I need three layers. 

H&M U must have this

It didn't take me long to try my new polish U must have this from H&M. I have been longing for some bright colors and this is perfect. This turqouise creme polish makes me think about a pool, somewhere nice, like Aruba, Malaysia or something. The color really makes my nails pop and I can't stop looking at them.

But there is something else popping as well, which you can see if you look closely at the photo. There are some bubbles, and bubbles I don't like, but these bubbles have popped so you can see the nail. Strange, I don't think I have ever experienced this before.

Otherwise the formula is quite nice to paint with. It is kind of thick but still easy to control. Two layers is enough to get a full cover.

I am extending my collection

Yesterday I went out shopping, I just felt that I needed a new pink polish and went for a hunt. I have this hunger for bright colors on my nails right now.

But, I didn't buy a pink one, instead I ended up with buying a turquise creme polish, U must have this,  and a light blue-lavender with shimmer, Peppermint fusion. Both from H & M.

They both look really nice in the bottles so I am looking forward to try them on.

H&M Blue my mind

I have a son who is five years old and he is totally used to me painting my nails. He knows I love it. The other day he told me "Whole you is nail polish". So sweet.
Being at H&M the other day he got to choose a nail polish and he choosed Blue my mind. A real bright blue with a hint of purple. I had never tried H&M's polishes before and wanted to give it a go.

And let me just say, I love this polish. The color is fantastic, it is so bright and have a kind of plastic look that I love. My son did a good choice!

The formula is good, applies well and two covers is enough to get opacity. The only thing I don't like is the shape of the cap. It is kind of difficult to hold, especially when I am painting my right hand.

"Watch the nails!"

The other day when I was at the gym training boxing the trainer came up to me and my partner for the day and said: "Ooh! Watch the nails!"
I thought it was funny. She was afraid my nails would break of the boxing.
People know I love my nails.

So, it is no surprise that I the other day bought some more nail polish. I know, I am bad, but they look beautiful so I couldn't resist. But at least two of them I have wanted for a while.

The polishes are:

H&M Blue my mind. My son choosed this for me.

Chanel Black pearl. I have been longing for this since I saw the first swatches.

Make up store Greta. A silver holographic polish from a swedish make up brand.

Make up store Aqua fix. Well, I need a base for the holographic polish.
