Salmon pink is a soft pink from the Swedish make up brand Snowcrystals summercollection. And, well, it is salmon pink. As salmon pink it can get. I think it looks a bit lame. This is something my grandma would have liked. Sorry.
The formula is not so good either and it takes four layers to get a nice and even result. To many in this case.

Snowcrystal Sparkling Aquamarine
I got quite fond of Denim blue from Snowcrystals springcollection so I wanted to try another one from the collection and bought the turqouise shimmer polish Sparkling Aquamarine. It was love at first sight when I saw the bottle in the shop.
But when I started painting with it I got disapointed at once. Not by the color, that is beautiful. Perfect for the summer, a day at the beach kind of color.
But the formula is terrible. It is thick, hard to work with and the result becomes bumby and very bubbly. I think it is visible in the photos. The surface is not smooth at all and if I hold my hand up against the light I can see lots of holes in the polish which are all the bubbles.
To get an even result I needed three layers.
No. This wasn't good at all. Hope the rest of the collection is better, I have one more to try.

Two more treasures from Sweden
I got two new polishes in my stash. One I got in Stockholm the other day. I was really satisfied with Snowcrystals Denim blue from their spring/summer collection so I wanted to try another one. And the turquoise Sparkling aquamarine caught my eye. It gives me a summer feeling.
The other polish I got from my friend Mette the other day. She came over for thé and had a flower and a nail polish with her for me. Isn't that sweet?
The polish is from Isadoras spring collection and it is called Mellow yellow. Looks nice. Will be fun to try because I don't have any yellow polishes.

Snowcrystal Denim blue
Denim blue from Snowcrystals spirng collection is a jeans blue metallic polish that almost looks a bit duochrome in the bottle because it has a pink microglitter.
I really like this color, it has a softnes over it but still look cool. You don't see much of the pink micro glitter on the nail though.
The formula is a bit thin, if you take too much polish on the brush it can become messy. To get it opaque I need three layers.

Snowcrystal and Elf
The other day I got a package with nail polish, sent from a PR-firm. Two of the polishes were from the Swedish nail polish brand Snowcrystal. It is from their spring collection and the polishes are:
Ice green. A very light shimmer polish, almost on the boarder to white. Looks very sweet.
Denim blue. A jeans blue shimmerpolish that looks duochrome i the bottle since I see some pink there as well.
Then I got two polishes from Elf, a brand I haven't tried before:
Hot pink. A creme pink polish.
X. This I don't know the name of, but it is a purple lavender.
To be seen on my nails soon...

Snowcrystal 441
Snowcrystal is a Swedish nailpolish brand and this is actually the first time I try it. This polish, number 441, is from their fall/winter collection. It is a dark bluegreen metallic polish with a hint of blue microglitter.
I find the color to be nice but not wow, to me it is not unique.
The formula is a bit thick but yet easy to control on the nail. It covers well with two layers.

I have been shopping again!
Whenever I go to Stockholm, I can't resist buying a nailpolish, or two. Or three like I did this time.
The other day I came home with the bright pink Fuchsia fever from Scratch nails, the silver glitter Today was a fairytale from Deborah Lippmann and a deep blue, no 441 from Snowcrystal.
Both Scratch nails and Snowcrystal are Swedish.
To be seen on my nails soon.
