Time for a strong color on my nails again. A vibrant green from Swedish make up brand Depends summer collection with the name 249.
This is a bright, strong green. I reallly like it, it is rich and glossy and makes a statement on the nails. Why haven't I tried it on earlier? Sometimes it is worth digging deep among the untrieds.
This is almost a onecoater, but I needed two coats for fixing a few things on the nails. The formula was smooth and easy to work with.

Depend 260
I don't like this with polishes having number as names. It is so hard to remember. A fun word name is much easier, and yes, makes me more likely to buy it. I am that easy.
Well, anyway Depends polish number 260 is a soft military green creme. Or an avocado-gone-a-bit-bad kind of a color. It is nice, but not wow. I have seen it before. This is the kind of polish to wear to work and match with the right clothes.
The formula though is a bit thick, but hey, it is a one coater! One coat is enough to get full opacity. Love that!

Depend 255
I got a really nice color to show you, number 255 from the Swedish make up brand Depend. This is a turqoise kind of teal. Saturated but still bold and intense. It gives me a wow-feeling when I look at my nails.
In the bottle it has a silver shimmer, but it doesn't really show on the nail. Instead it dries with a matte-rubbery feeling. If you want it shiny, use a top coat (which I always do).
It is very well pigmented and is almost a onecoater, but I use two. I think though that Depends brushes are too soft, a little bit harder would be good.

Depend 262
This is not black. This is black with a silver shimmer that turns out matte on the nail. Which makes it graphite. I love it. It looks cool. Especially the matte effect.
And the polish, it is number 262 from Depends fall collection. A Swedish brand.
The formula though was a bit hard. It was thick and hard to work with and as you can see on the photos I got some brush strokes. But it almost covered with one coat, but I used two.

Rimmel Disco ball
Okey, let spice things up. I took yesterdays manicure with Depends purple polish number 261 and added a bit of sparkle with the help of Disco ball from Rimmel, another polish I bought in Scotland.
Disco ball has a clear base, some small silver glitter and some medium sized light purple and blue glitter. Perfect for layering. So I took just one layer of Disco ball of my creme polish, and it got a lot more fun, even though I didn't expect so much out f it. Hmm, really must be in some glitter period right now.

Depend 261
Purple is one of my favourite colors to wear on my nails. Along with silver, pink, red, blue...and some more.
The polish 261 from Depends fall collection is a bright light purple creme polish that I like even though I am not superimpressed by it. It is a normal purple creme.
The formula was smooth and two layers was enough to get opacity. That is good.

Depend 258
The first polish I am trying from the Swedish brand Depend's fall collection is number 258. This is a mild purple-grey polish with a frost finish. And it dries matte. I didn't expect that!
The color is quite nice, it is sophisticated and safe. You can't go wrong when wearing a color like this.
The formula though is a bit thick and it is hard to get an even result. It covers well, one layer is almost enough but I take two.
With top coat.
Matte finish.

Fall collection from Depend
The Swedish make up brand Depend comes with a new collection for every season, twelve colors in small bottles. The fall collection contains of mainly blue, green, taupe and purple colors. Nice, saturated fall colors. Mostly creme, but also shimmers.
I like the turqiouse number 255 and the purple 254, at the first quick look.
To be seen on my nails soon.

Depend 243
The polish 243 (don't you think number names are boring and hard to remember? I think so) from Depend is a sweet polish. It is a light purple with micro silver glitter. The glitter makes the polish shine, but not sparkle. The color is nice, but not wow. Follow me? It is just a bit pale.
But, it is easy to paint with and you could get away with just two layers. But I do three. But that is me.
I might have to think about something more fun to do with this, maybe I could use it for layering somehow?

Depend 122
Another pink! I am not getting tired of them and I am searching for the perfect pink. Now it is the bright pink polish from Depends summercollection.
It is a pink metallic looking polish with a hint of blue and orange in it. There is a lot of shimmer in it. It is beautiful and kind of the pink that I am looking for.
The formula is good and easy to paint with, but I do find the brush to be a bit soft. A little harder would be good. Two layers is enough to get good opacity.

Depend 244
Depends coral pink polish 244 from their summer collection is a sweet polish. Perfect to wear to a wedding or a day at the beach. It has a light, jelly fomula that makes it a bit transparant, therefore I used four coats. It is also a bit runny so you need to concentrate.
I think though that the color doesn't suit me so well. At the moment I want a more vibrant color.

Depend 246
The babyblue polish number 246 from Depend is a nice surprise. It is a creme polish with a good formula that is easy to paint with. Two layers is enough to get an even and opaque surface.
Depend is a low price brand in Sweden, so I am happily surprised.
The babyblue color is not so unique though. It has a hint of turqoise in it but mostly it is blue. It is nice, but not something I am jumping up and down for.

Summer from Depend
I got Depends summer collection in the mail and there are some goodies that I have fallen for. Like the coral pink, the bright pink and the light blue metallic.
I haven't tried the Swedish brand Depend so much earlier, tha last time was many years ago, so this will be interesting.
See them on my nails soon...

Depend Cracked effect
Okey, it is hard to avoid this trend now with crackle polishes. Isadora has them and that has been a success, China glaze and OPI are coming with them and now Depend has created six different shades that are out in at least Swedish stores now, I bought mine in the supermarket Ica. I love that, some milk, bread, butter, and yeah, I need a nail polish as well.
Wll, I got the red Cracked effect from Depend, because I haven't seen red before. On the bottle it says that I should start with base coat and nail polish and then wait four minutes. So I did.
And then continue with the Cracked effect, wait two minutes and then put on top coat. And so I did.
I followed the instructions, several times actually, but I am not satisfied. First I tried it over a silver foil from Isadora, that didn't work at all, it was just a mess. Then I tried it over Black onyx from OPI. That didn't work either. The crackle polish made the OPI polish shrink as well, so much that I could see the nail.
Okey, what if I let the nail polish dry longer? Said and done. Now I put on an orange polish from OPI and let it dry for over twenty minutes, then I put on the Cracked effect. That worked better, but if I look closely I can still see some shrinkage with the orange polish.
You also have to be very quick with the Cracked effect, there is no time to correct. If you put on a thin layer you get more cracks than if you put on a thicker layer. To get it really red you have to put on a top coat, otherwise it is matte and pale. I do like the mix with red and orange though.
I am glad I didn't spend so much money on this.

Cracked again!
Swedish make up brand Depend has launched six crackle polishes in six different shades like black, blue, pink, white, purple and red. It is small bottles with just 5 ml and not so expensive. I really liked the effect of OPI crackle polish so I had to get this too. I got the red one and it will be interesting to see how it works. I will get back to it!
