Oh my holo!

I played with my nails a little bit yesterday. First I painted them with the silver holo Greta from Make up store. I love that polish. But then I wanted to ad a little more sparkle, make them really blingy. So on Greta I added three layers of  Disco ball  sparkle from OPI, it has a clear base and then small silver glitter and bigger hex holo glitter.

I love the result, it looks a bit icy.

So what am I doing with these party nails today? First work, then I am having dinner with my wonderful man and all the children, then we are hitting the sauna. Great for the cuticles! Haha.

Some shopping on the way to work...

I hurt my back this morning working out (isn't training supposed to be good for you?), so feeling sorry for myself I bought two polishes on my way to work. Both I have wanted since I first saw them.

The ones I bought are these:

Britta from Make up store. A pink holo. I am really looking forward to wear this.

Notoriously beautiful from H&M. A purple-blue creme. Like it.

To bee seen on my nails soon... I hope, I have so many untried polishes right now, why did I buy two moore?

Make up store Greta

Look at this beauty! A wonderful silver holographic polish that just makes my nails glow.

I have wanted a holographic for so long, a real one with a lot of holoeffect. I have some other holographic polishes but no one is near this. And this I found just around the corner from my work. It is the Swedish make up brand Make up store that has their own shops all over Sweden and the world. They actually had several holographic polishes, but I fell for the silver one called Greta.

When I painted this I started with using Make up stores Aqua fix which they recommended in the shop (of course), otherwise I wouldn't get the effects. Make sure though that you paint it even otherwise it will show through the holopolish.
Then I needed three layers to get it as opaque as I want it. I found this pretty easy to paint with, the formula was medium thick.

And I just love this holographic effect, it is really super. Or what do you think?

"Watch the nails!"

The other day when I was at the gym training boxing the trainer came up to me and my partner for the day and said: "Ooh! Watch the nails!"
I thought it was funny. She was afraid my nails would break of the boxing.
People know I love my nails.

So, it is no surprise that I the other day bought some more nail polish. I know, I am bad, but they look beautiful so I couldn't resist. But at least two of them I have wanted for a while.

The polishes are:

H&M Blue my mind. My son choosed this for me.

Chanel Black pearl. I have been longing for this since I saw the first swatches.

Make up store Greta. A silver holographic polish from a swedish make up brand.

Make up store Aqua fix. Well, I need a base for the holographic polish.
