New polishes in my stash

It is always fun to find some polishes in my mail box. These beauties were sent to me a week ago. Polishes from China glaze Metro collection, two from China glaze Halloween collection, polishes from the Italian brand Collistars holiday collection Carisma och polishes from Mavala.

I have had my hands on Denim blue from Mavala several times but never bought it, so I am glad I got that. And China glaze Skyskraper looks amazing. The same with Collistars Blue Lamé Matte.
Hmm, am I in to blues or what at the moment?

Collistar Confetto perla

Confetto perla is the last polish out from Collistars summercollection. Earlier I have tried the orange Mandarino Lacca and the blue Blue jeans, two plishes that I liked.

Confetto perla is a bright, light bubblegum pink with silver and holo micro glitter. It is very sweet, too sweet for me. This is something my niece would like. It is just too pink if you know what I mean.  So you might guess it, but this is not a candidate for the perfect pink.

The formula is thin and after four layers it is still not opaque or good looking.

Collistar Mandarino Lacca

On midsummers eve my stepdaughter had a party at home. Me and my man were up in our summerhouse. When we came home she told me that the girls at the party had seen my nail polish collection and were totally amazed. They thought it was fantastic.
Well, and yes I have a lot of nail polish. A color for every occasion as I myself found out the other week. I had bought an orange dress for a party. Orange is not a color I usually wear, so I was thinking through my polishes and remembered that I had Mandarino Lacco from Collistar. And it was an exact match to my dress. Perfect!

The color is a saturated orange, on the border to being tomatored, and it is a creme polish. I like the color and think it works even if you are a bit pale as I am. The fomula is a bit thick so I have to work with it a bit, but two coats is enough to get it opaque.

And on the party, people did notice that my nails and dress matched. I love that!

Collistar Blue jeans

Collistar is an italian brand that I have never tried before. But it was a pleasant surprise.

Blue jeans is a marine blue creme polish with a very smooth formula. Two layers is enough to get full cover and the result is very good.
The brush holds a lot of paint though so you have to remove a lot before you start painting.

The color is really nice, it is rich and glossy. I do like it, but I have seen it before. But, hey, isn't there dupes everywhere now?

New polishes from Collistar

Collistar is a brand I have never tried before so I got happy for these three that were sent to me the other week. Collistar is an italian brand.

The colors are:

Confetto perla. A very sweet , bright pink with silver micro glitter. This might be too sweet for me, but lets see.
Blue jeans. A medium dark blue creme. Looks very nice in the bottle.
Mandarino lacca. Red-orange creme polish, perfect for when you have a tan I think.
